Rhinathiol Promethazine Cough Syrup 125ml

Rhinathiol Promethazine is a cough syrup used for the alleviation of unproductive and irritating coughs in adults and children of 2 years and above. It contains carbocisteine and promethazine.

Promethazine is an antihistamine while carbocisteine is a mucolytic that reduces the thickness of the sputum and makes the sputum easy to remove.

Rhinathiol Promethazine is used to treat nausea and vomiting, motion sickness, allergic reactions, common cold and itchiness.

Dosage

Adults 15ml three times in a day

Children 6- 12 yrs 7.5ml three times a day.

It should not be given to children less than one year

Promethazine in pregnancy- has not been show to cause any harm to the baby.
