Benylin Paediatric Syrup

Benylin Paediatric Syrup – 100ml provides effective relief of cough, hay fever and allergies in children above the age of 2 years.

Ingredients

Each 5ml syrup contains Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 7mg, Alcohol 5% w/v and Sodium Benzoate 0.5% w/v as preservative.

How to use

Children 6 to 12 years: 5 to 15 mg every two to six hours, as needed.
Children 4 to 6 years :5 mg every four hours, as needed.
Children and infants up to 4 years: Use is not recommended.

Precautions

Do not exceed a maximum of 4 doses per day. The use of this medication may lead to drowsiness and impaired concentration, which may be aggravated by the simultaneous intake of alcohol or other central nervous system depressant agents.
